Ajedrez al Barrio is an urban intervention program in Medellín that uses chess as a pedagogical tool, cultural and social to recover public space and strengthen the community fabric.

Through weekly meetings, installation of public boards and cultural activation, the program creates safe environments, encourages coexistence and promotes strategic thinking in children, young and old.
